    Things are bad, really bad.
The club is currently rotting from the inside out. Its a shambles to be completely honest.

I honestly can't see how we are going to stop the rot. Especially on field. We seem to be sticking with Sormaz, who lets be frank, is utterly useless & has somehow found himself in a job that he's just not cut out for. His Christmases have all come at once!

We are bleeding money, & are running out of saleable assets, we will need to find some money from somewhere to make back what we've lost from sacking Clarke. Players will have to be sold, DKD will attract offers, as will Phillips, & i can see both putting in transfer requests before the August deadline next season. Maybe Connell too. We have numerous players out of contract, pretty much all of them not good enough, so why offer them new contracts? Which means a hell of a lot of work will need to be done assembling a squad, again. But with even less money. Which means more unproven lower league/non league players.

Then there's the manager situation, who on earth is going to see us & think "Wouldn't mind a bit of that"? The budget's just not going to be there anymore, we'll have a lower end league 1 budget next season, especially when folk don't renew season tickets, which by the way, the begging letters will be a laugh in a few week! I can only foresee a relegation battle next season.

Which brings me on to the dreaded "A" word, Administration, a rumour no less, but come on, is it beyond the realms of possibility? Especially with how much money we are losing on a monthly basis. Something drastic must happen, the closing of the academy maybe. Either way, Biddy2376 or whatever he's called got hounded, but would the owners admit it at this stage? Course not, although i wouldn't be surprised if its at least been discussed in some capacity, & that's where the rumour came from.

Either way this downward spiral can't go on, can it? Its got to bottom out at some point!?

At my time of life, memory is not a certainty. I'm sure at a F.A.B. back in December or it might have been January, someone asked if the owners were seeking investment from outside. The answer was neither yes or no but it was suggested that at the next meeting further information would be forthcoming. Since then F.A.B. issues haven't been reported on because it appears the Club are holding back on releasing them.

DKD and Phillips will be sold in the summer. To be replaced by a couple of Sunday league players and Rodrigues on a permanent deal!

For the first time I actually think a relegation fight is on the cards next season. The budget will be even lower and we might have to cash in on DKD and Phillips. As for Connell, doubt he’d command much of a fee these days anyway. Many average L1 midfielders look a lot better than he does now.
Owners desperately need to find some investment or a buyer for the club. As things stand they’re driving us in only one direction….down. For starters Sormaz simply has to go ASAP.

just for clarity. Explain how we can go into administration with no debts. Learn some basic financial knowledge.

Those debts would soon be amassed if the owners don't keep chucking millions in on watered down equity though. How long/much are they prepared to do it?

I wrote a post on here about a year ago saying at some point the decline would bottom out eventually. We are still in decline at the moment though it seems. The summer is going to be critical on lots of levels - recruitment, finance, staff etc etc. The board have to start getting things right very soon.

We've also no assets apart from possibly two or three players who would command a fee so it wouldn't have to be a big debt would it. We didn't owe much last time and the club owned Oakwell then. My worry is that faced with an ever increasing short fall the board either run out of money or more likely lose the will to keep pumping millions in to cover they incompetent running of the club and pull the plug. .

Again you cannot go into admin because of some imaginary future debts you don’t meet the rules.

We have no debts at all. So we do not meet the criteria for admin. Idiots (I don’t mean you) spreading lies helps no one.
