Anyone expecting an ex 10 years back great to have any magic dust in his pocket got their answer today.
And to the Clarke out, lower league coach brigade... That first half was as bad, if not worse than anything served up under DC. Bit better second half.. but Mansfield who hadn't won in 14.. and it showed. They were awful but all they needed to do to beat us was get in our face's.. and bingo.
If anyone had any doubt how far we've dropped then that display today should be enough..
Whoever the new head coach is Connor or take your pick it won't make any difference.
Don't think we've enough of this present squad out of contract in the summer to make any difference next season..
Honestly don't know where we go from here.. and how to start turning it around..
But sacking Mladen would be a start..

Well they got what they wanted, with some of their personal vendetta's against Clarke.
And now I hope they are absolutely delighted at the situation we're now in.
And are they going to be at it again, if (for example) Connor's team loses five in a row ?.

To make it worse they have a better off the field set up than us and an excellent scoreboard.

Brilliant Fanzone set up too. We really seem to be the pits as a club at everything.

Clarke was *****. That’s not to say others attempting to manage us can’t or won’t be equally *****

Yes that big marqee was impressive and the set up behind the stand next to it was good too with the burger van and beer area. Reasonable prices as well at 4.50 for an hot dog and fiver for a cheeseburger. Cheaper than Rotherham.

Parking near to the ground and away quickly with it all well policed.

I’m amazed Conor has agreed to take the job on, even for just 10 games. He’s taking on a group of players who’ve no spine to them whatsoever. With nothing to play for it’s hard to see how he can motivate them to show a bit of fight.
He risks damaging his coaching career before it’s even started with this lot.

Connor when down in my expectations when he was praising Malden, he effectively is another yes man with no experience and nothing to lose

Him and Sormaz will have colluded behind the scenes long before Clarke got the sack. Quite disgusting really, majority of fans saw it coming a mile off. Obviously Hourihane isn't going to turn the opportunity down of a Head Coach role, he owes Sormaz one.
