'Battling Barnsley'

I wish we did do some battling.

At times like this, I wonder what the Reverend Preedy, Rimmo, Winny and Redders would have had to say to these spineless individuals.

 

There’s simply not enough desire to win in the team.

They’ve stopped playing for several managers, and failed to start for most of the caretakers.

Personally I think it comes from hiring mercenaries without due regard to character.

 

As we speak, Alan Clarke is squirming in his armchair lol.
He always disliked the 'battling' tag that the media and press gave us.

 

One of the few things I inherited from my dad when he died was a Leeds kit signed by Allan Clarke.

 

I could have been a Leeds fan myself when I was little, but I chose not to be!.
And the rest of course, is history.

 

Probably through the century,we’ve seen it all before,and we’re still here

 

Not much 'battle' in the side we put our recently. They looked like they can't be bothered at the moment. No commitment and just happy to get by..... not unlike the board really.

 

Such a shame as that’s what we are all proud of, fighting and punching above our weight.
