Yep, they were only knee high then lol. Tha's probably still got the video an all of it all and calling me a miserable git
I think the daft kick off times and stupid Sky deal will impact season ticket sales more than anything on or off the pitch. I mean we went actual months without a 3pm Saturday kick off. A great example of progress not being progress
I'm actually going to that one... Makes a change for me. I need to make myself really really depressed before kick off so anything I watch won't make me feel even worse.
Crackers isn't it, heard Peterborough owner Darragh McCantony on talksport about September time saying the new deal only worked out about 135k additional per team, said they'd lose more on gate receipts.
I think the atmosphere is bad due to several reasons tbh. The match day experience isn’t great, big queues, expensive food & drink. Awful football, terrible home results, nothing to shout about. Biggest problem, imo, is the apathy around the place, even if we did manage to win a game, folk are generally fed up with everything BFC. I certainly am & it’s honestly not like me at all either.
Biggest shame is the lack of revenue would guarantee much less investment, so it’s easy to predict that the club will at least stagnate if not slip further down. I’m not blaming any fan for not renewing, but that is what will happen for sure.
