I think out chairman has got that off to flying start 1. Tell the fans that we are a top 4 team whilst sitting in 10th
    2. Say we are going to sell our 'better' players to balance the books(, not that we have not done in the past)
    3. Say promotion to a higher league is not the aim of the club nor should the supporters buy a season ticket if they think that what the club has in mind
    4. Wait until the start of next season to appoint a head coach so they don't know the players they have to work with.
    5. Treat the fans who watch the team week in week out what THEY think the fans want to see and dont watch the team themselves play.
    6. Criticise the fans for displaying their displeasure at what they turn up for( in all weathers) and are constantly being beaten at home and so boo to try to convey their feelings.
    7. Use the headcoach as a scapegoat for the club hierarchy who select the playing staff and recuit players based purely on data and get it wrong.
That Mr Chairman is how not to sell season tickets for next season.

I think they might wait until this season ends to appoint a new manager didn't he say one of the coaches they are looking at is still been paid by a championship club?

Yes, I've got no issues with us waiting for potentially a better coach, as long as he has pre-season. We need to get it right and we can't afford to pay someones high wages from another club and pay him our wage on top.

As regards the club losing money, at the last fans forum months ago, the opening gambit was that the club was set to lose 8million per year but the money from sale of Mads and Kitchin were still to come in, in installments. If the club is set to lose that amount annually then the sale of DKD, Philips and Connell won't cover the shortfall. Inshort unless things change radically we are up the creek without a paddle.

The issue with waiting until the season ends to appoint a head coach is other teams will have sacked their managers by then too - so more jobs on offer and potentially lower championship teams or teams that have come down - so the better candidates are going to go there instead at that point.
