Don't know how Hourihane has done it but he's managed to make us perform worse than we did under Clarke. Abject performance, lack any ideas and any leadership.

Only cos the opposition is worse. Mind you, they still look like they could score every time they attack.

It’s a bad, bad showing. But I’ve seen worse this season.

Fair play to Cambridge. Nailed on to go down, nowt to play for but they’re set up brilliantly to expose us in transition. We are so easy to play against.

That said, I’d have expected (xG) Watters and DKD to score their opportunities. The latter especially.

Completely agree, the board should have acted quickly and got a manager in. There are plenty of good ones around at the moment

As poor as we were first half this ( probable) loss is once again due to us being utterly inept in front of goal

First half was shocking. But we should have still scored.

Second half was better and we actually had some sustained pressure. If only we’d have scored a bit earlier, could’ve made it nervy for them.

If only we had a striker that knew how to make a run, or play off the last defender...

It was crap, but the one positive for me was that for once this year the subs made us look better rather than poorer.

That is the biggest “if” you’re right. Even just stand inside the box would be a start.

I really enjoyed the second half, thought jono and jalo were superb and nice to hear in Conor's interview that they're going to get their chance for the rest of the season.

I can’t help but think Cambridge blew that today. They had plenty of chances to launch counter attacks when it was 1-0 to them & they didn’t even try. They just hoofed it forwards & let us have the ball. I think with a bit more belief they could’ve tried for a second & maybe even got it. If they get a win today they’ve at least got a glimmer of hope when it comes to survival.

Or if the ref had added on the extra 5 or so minutes the Cambridge keeper was allowed to waste without sanction...
