Makes me sad with Benson (I’m sure it makes him even sadder) because I think there’s a really good midfielder in there but if he’s never going to be fit then his career isn’t going to work.

From what I've seen he makes Tedic look coordinated and skilful. Hope I'm wrong.

Yeah I’ll be honest mate i was really sorry for the lad today he probably can’t wait to get away from the club and start again somewhere else where hopefully his luck changes.

If what's been alleged regarding his wages is correct, I'm sure he's praying Mladen stays true to form and offers him a new contract, can't see him getting anywhere near half what he's supposed to be on here, anywhere else.

I heard someone say 14k a week and if that’s the case and I’m sure it’s not but if someone did they should be sacked also.

    Great post.

End of the day - he’s just a young lad trying to make a career out of football.

He has the talent, and has shown it at times, but hampered by serious injuries. Not his fault.

Hope he recovers well and is back at it soon. The wages aren’t his fault. I think £8k a week is the figure. Won’t last him long as he’ll be dropping down the leagues soon trying to earn another contract and rebuild his career.

Yeah I really hope he can get himself properly fit whether that be here or somewhere else

Yeah injuries have really ruined his career with us. I don’t think the “pay as you play” deal works at this level but on much less wages, I wouldn’t be against a 12 month deal.

Yeah, I’d be happy to stick by the lad if financially it had a minimal impact on us. Usually clubs do look after injured players when their contracts run out, and I feel he can still do a job when fully fit and had a good run in the team, but that’s just not regular enough.

Bet he rooms with watters cos they must share sectets on how to hoodwink folk for a pro contract.

Unbelieveable they had a full season to see he wasnt any good unless they thought they could polish him up to be something half decent.

he used to be aggresive till he gor sent off. Dropped right out of favour after and hes lost that aggression since.

Funnily enough, some of my best moments of the season have been served up by Humphrys. The late headed winner at Burton, great finishes against the Millers and Wycombe at home and also at Cambridge, where he ran half of the pitch. Also two brilliant assists for DKD at Exeter and Northampton.

Sadly though, those moments have been few and far between, but he’s not on his own in that. Inconsistency defines most of our players.

Top 5 moments of this shitty season:

    1) Phillips late winner at Bolton
    2) Hanging on against Wrexham at home
    3) Humphrys last second winner at Burton after conceding a late equaliser
    4) Roberts last minute winner at Blackpool
    5) Clarke getting sacked and us never having to see his stupid beard, cap, bullsĥit and gilet combo ever again

So we are paying him 3 quarters of a million quid a year, not including bonuses? In league one? Just don't believe it for a second mate and im weary of anyone claiming otherwise

For all of Mladen's faults, I don't recall him ever offering exuberant contract extensions to any fringe players.

Inconsistency I can cope with. Lack of effort I can’t. He’s been uninterested for weeks. Bone idle.
