On the contrary I’ve argued against two posters on this thread to my recollection.

You and Redhelen. You’ve both, in different ways, shown high levels of ignorance on the issue.

In your case I think it’s genuine lack of knowledge on the subject rather than a deep rooted prejudice - and as such I have only tried to encourage you to look more on the subject to form an opinion on the matter.

Yes, there is.

Male brains are typically larger - that doesn't necessarily translate to increased intelligence.

Female brains usually have larger hippocampus areas which are related to memory creation and function.

There's more but I can't recall it off the top of my head. But there are very real and significant differences.

 

But what is cis? Could you enlighten me on that? Ah I thought this subject had sort of touched a nerve for you or something you seemed abit sensitive hope your okay.

What would your reaction be if I said you were a typical female? Or said I’d expect no different from a woman? You’d quite rightly call out sexism and misogyny. I’d agree.

It works both ways though.

 

To be fair science is split on that one - though some people much more qualified than me in anatomical science would disagree hugely.

Well just read this thread from start to finish and I’m actually not sure why…
It gives an overview of society in general in the microcosm of the BBS.

A few points:

1. Absolutely no idea what the purpose of the thread was, why it mattered or why anyone took offence to the terms of the question.
2. Far too much antagonism and baiting in some of the replies.
3. If you didn’t like the question, why comment if it wasn’t to create controversy?
   
4. If how people identify or ask you to identify is genuinely causing you offence/emotional distress I suggest you read the news and look at the real issues in the world today and realign your outrage with that.

 

There's a few on here like that hide behind a screen name but speak to people how they want. And somehow not been banned for it and alot of the time these are the posters quick to report other posters to admin. Troff never come across like that before this thread decent on football posts never agree on anything else but thats that. We're all barnsley fans all male, female or whatever else so live and let live enjoy your Saturday night.

 

RH - totally agree with your comments on this thread - always happens in discussion about male/female/trans etc. issues some men feel they have to own the narrative.
