How many times did it say Benson had touched it before he went off? He didn't seem very involved at all. Not necessarily a criticism of him because he was asking for it a few times but was ignored

 

Wouldn't get too excited about Jalo, he's probably one they'll be selling in the summer if there's interest.

Agree in your other points but on the girl being searched I get why. If not then people would get their kids to smuggle **** in knowing they don't get searched. I think the key thing is making sure it's done in a friendly and non-threatening way socshe doesn't feel like they're accusing her of owt.

That doesn't make it any less of a lie. It just means it's an industry accepted lie. I don't blame Barnsley one bit though. If everyone else does it they kind of have to in order to not look weak. I think it may even be in the fa rules/guidance

Exactly this. There's no reason a child's bag shouldn't be searched but it needs to be done in a way that is nonthreatening and preferably light-hearted. It's not impossible.

 

He could have gone last Jan and been in some premier league u23 squad now on more money. His dad and him wanted him to break into the 1st team here. That speaks volumes.

 

Look at the pen Wrexham got today and I’m not even sure why ours wasn’t.

 

Wrexham’s penalty was an absolute joke of a decision and no club in the league other than them would have been awarded it.

I’m just waiting on the EFL’s decision to dock Wycombe points for the heinous crime of having the temerity of not allowing the darlings of the football league to walk to automatic promotion.

 

It’s clearly match fixing but clearly they Wrexham promoted asap.

 

It looked to me that it wasn’t a penalty until McClean shouted loud enough at the linesman for long enough.

That said it was a woeful penalty and how he was allowed to get to the second ball where it had got to, the Stockport defenders must have had their laces tied together.

I’ve just watched it again, not only was it a joke given he’d jumped up for a header and had his back to it, his arm up only as he’d jumped, the ball doesn’t even hit his arm. It hits his back/shoulder blade.

Absolutely shocking.

 

To be fair it was similar today for us. Ref gave a foul against Cambridge and their player trotted off. Barnsley fans and players shouted for a card and he went "oh ok I'll book him". Never in a million years was he getting a yellow till we all asked for one

 

Weird how certain teams get everything and others nothing.

 

Interesting how much better we looked with 4 at the back.

I wouldn't be against us lining up that way from the start next match. Particularly while Roberts is out.

 

He’s not the finished article but at least he’s got some skills and puts in some effort. Way more then can be said for most of the rest of them.

 

Transfers generate income for lots of people. There’s no money in just using your own players if you know what i mean……
