He would be up there with Warne.

Not a chance with his Championship record that he will get a job there next.

A club going places….. that’s us out of the question then. Only one way we’re headed and it’s not on an upward trajectory.

He’d have to be pretty desperate to want to work here - but maybe he is. He’d also need a lot more say/control over the footballing side of things otherwise he’ll go the same way as others before him.

Did well at Rotherham with a small budger. Had a transfer embargo at derby. I agree would need supporting but would be a step in the right direction.

Warne would be my choice but by summer he might have other local clubs wanting him. Think Evans will get the push at Rotherham and they will always have a pull for him. Plus Huddersfield have only appointed an interim coach for now so they’ll likely be in the running too.

We don't employ managers, we employ head coaches. I'm sure any potential head coach who has spoken to Nererav and found out Mladen Sorarse will be overseeing the full transfer activity will run and they'd be right to do so :D

I know he got Derby up but I do remember a lot of Derby fans saying the football under him was dire

It is, he’s one of the worst candidates for me. Completely the wrong fit, he’s Neil Collins 2.0. The football is awful, and people saying he did well at Derby, so he should have. He had the largest club in the league with the largest budget. Then look at his time at Rotherham, they were spending a small fortune each time to try and bounce back to the championship. Then he stunk the place out once promoted.

Not the right man, not even close to being the right man. I guarantee this appointment would not work.

Great listen, wish I'd have switched off the subtitles earlier though, Can't think of Hammill in the same cult status any longer.

Daniel Stendel was my favourite of the 'foreign' headcoaches of recent years and he was 'sacked' because the board sold some of our best players from under him after gaining promotion and so he realised what was happening. Don't know whether it would work for him again or even if he would want to come back as some of the board of the time are still here. He endeared himself to the fans from day one and was well liked by many.

If you/we want Warne then that's him out of the picture.
Who are we to suggest the one to choose?
