You " keep your options open ", Ian, lad - as long as one of them doesn't involve coming here!

Despite us and most other fans thinking he/Evatt is a horrible bloke...
Seriously though, what would we think if we appointed him for a start.
And if he did what he's good at, for our team, and if it meant us doing well, and being a Play off challenging team or even a top two challenging team, each season!!.

Lee Hendrie is a numpty, bloke talks as if Evatt would walk into our job if he wanted it......." should he consider Barnsley?" I hope Barnsley don't consider him!
On what planet does an "actual Championship" club come in for failed L1 manager Evatt. More chance he'll end up in L2 than the Championship.

Tho, Neerav seems in touch with the fanbase, I'm sure he's a shoe in.

Hell no - he only knows to manage team thats got massive resources compared to its relative league rivals. No way would he be able to work in our regime. Honestly it’s going to be someone we have never heard of before or Hourihane.

Well I don't like the bloke either Frog lol, so I'm not pulling any punches there about him.
Despite that though, I just wonder if he could do the same for us what he did for Bolton, in this League. And while that wasn't promotion, it was better than what we seem to be heading towards right now.
And I still hope we keep our options open, about Duff maybe coming back. Even though it sounds like he's going to the Mortal Kombat Dons.

He was sacked because Bolton were in 9th at the time mate. He plays ***** football. He did okay for the first couple of years but personally think he was poor for last 2. Some of the results were shocking, the football even worse. Id avoid. I think there's better options out there mate but that's just my opinion obvs!

Yeah and he's not my first or second choice either, but you know what I'm suggesting at least.
The annoying though Frog, is every single appointment is a gamble, whether he's Giuseppe Guardiola from Man City, or Bob Smith from Sharlston. :D

There are definitely better options, yes, but there are far more worse, most of whom we don't even know. Given the board's track record, it'll no doubt be one of the latter.

That goes without saying. We could pluck any tom dick & harry out of the hat. People always wanted british managers but the last 2 I think should prove british, with league experience, means sweet F all mate. Dont care where theyre from, just get the best available.

Seriously, if Evatt got the job, how many would turn their back on the club? Not many I guess. I suspect his haters would probably sit sharpening their knives ready for if/when he fails!

TBH I'm on the fence with managers. Regardless of who they are or where they've managed. Without proper resources most would fail. And some do, even with millions to spend. I would never turn my back on the club. Regardless of who it is. May not like em though.

I remember when Kenny Burns played against us and fans were ready to go over the wall to have a go because he was such a dirty ba#&*£##.
He signed for us in the summer and the next season every time he flattened someone the fans cheered him like he was the best ever.
    Football fans have short memories.
