Yeah Grimsby had a good one there.
And why did Stoke have the pink panthers, I've never understood that ?.
We really ought to have made more of the "He's got a plant pot, on his head!" lol, with an inflatable one.

Yeah Wrexham have been paying way above their league status for the last few years. I suppose that gets more difficult to do as you go up the pyramid but, as you say, will be interesting to see their figures.

I would love to see a breakdown of where our losses are. Clearly, there’s 0% chance of that though.

£700k loss a month just blows my mind. £170k loss a week? Just don’t get it….

Money is ridiculous. I've said that for a long time. Having a family member who works for a PL club, I know the figures are mind-blowing. Our club is so far off competing financially - won't happen in my lifetime.

Man City will get a £97m bonus for doing well in this summer's club world cup. Bonus. On top of agreed participation money. But the obscene part? The pre-canned excuse of players being tired after losing 2 on the bounce next October.

Me neither. And when I quiz it I just get referred back to Flatman's presentation at fans forum.
That didn't explain how or why. We just had to sit like simpletons and take their word for it.
Losing all that money after selling Mads et al? All incoming installments, we are led to believe.

It’s scandalous. No wonder City and the likes are too ‘tired’ for FA Cup replays these days. Sky have created a monster with the Prem and it’s growing out of control.

It’s the equivalent of having 30 players on more than £5k a week and that’s just loss, not even expenditure. As you say we should still be getting cash from Kitching, Mads etc. The figures just don’t add up.

Perhaps we are following the Turkish barbers financial model.

Yep. It’s incredible figures. What can it possibly be? I would guess player wages is a big chunk of it but looking at our squad currently, it must be the lowest wage bill we’ve had in years (until next year).

According to the BBC the £97 million is the maximum they can get including the participation money.
    Still obscene though.

Man City and Chelsea could earn £97m at Club World Cup - https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/ckgdky6xd4wo
