Absolutely agree which is why I’m fairly happy we are still trying to go forward and not trying to hold on to a 1-0

reading this thread you’d think we were losing

Our running at them is quite impressive and they are conceding plenty of fouls. Only one booking so far though but that number will probably increase

Nice to see some pace going forwards

Been very impressed with Flavell. Looks composed, can kick with both feet, anticipates balls played forward, and a decent shot stopper. Solid.

The protection offered to our defence by our midfield is literally zero. It'll be a miracle if we keep a clean sheet.

No problem with how anyone is playing but you can't have a front 3 and then a midfield two of Russell and Nwakali.

iFollow not great for me today. Just dropped out and that's the second time this half, along with a few pauses.

We have looked decent going forward but defensively poor mdg and robbo have been awful.

Not a bad effort. Grew into the half and finished the strongest IMO.

The worry with Jalo at this level is that he has speed, talent, trickery, etc., which leads to a lot of overly rough treatment. He’s not a big lad, which leads to injury, much like the shove that caused the shoulder injury, leading to missing most of this season.

    Enjoyed that.

Fully committed. Some enterprising stuff going forward. Mixing the play up. I can see what they’re trying to do.

Some defensive lapses, mainly Roberts but seems to have shook that off as the half developed.

All of Flavell, Bland and Jalo impressing.

Then got fouled on half time but the ref just blew for half time instead of the foul.

basically 5 defenders and 3 forwards a better team would have put us away by now

Imho....when I saw the team sheet, I was thinking there was no tacklers or bight in midfield and it kind of turned out that way.
First 10, they had us on toast especially down our left hand side...we have done bits ok but are second best in that midfield, that said I think Nwakali has done well.
Our defence, due to lack of protection in front of them are getting dragged and pulled and look fragile.
Let's hope we can close this out but I can see us gifting them something.
Special mentions gor Flavell, Bland and Jalo and of course a great free kick from DKD.

Wish Nwakali would release the ball earlier when he gets the chance and the defence as always looks very vulnerable but it’s been decent in parts and great to see the young uns doing okay.

Amen to that. Bit of movement and energy ...players selected look like they are interested at least.

Bland looks a good player. Perhaps we should have more faith in the academy.

I’ve stopped trying to defend Nwakali. It wouldn’t matter to certain people whatever he did. For some bizarre reason.

I thought he had a decent half.
