    Surely we can hold off on blaming the head coaches for a little while. Clarke, Collins and Hourihane can't all be this clueless - they're being given nothing to work with.

    Ref had to agree and give it though. His call ultimately.

    And yes there’s a bit of a pull on Russell but I still think it’s a hugely generous call. If the goal was awarded I’d have been more furious with the laughable ‘attempts’ to clear than I would be a decision to not penalise the lad on the line.

    Imho....fully deserved. Exeter have been very effective. Good high press and well disciplined. Of course it helps we are not very good and I'm just not sure where Conor starts with this mob.
    Second half I believe they will score again ...comfy night for the visitors, hope I'm wrong. I keep looking for little green shoots but really we need an overall of players and a re set.

    He let them get away with stuff first 5 minutes, whilst giving them everything. From the point he booked Nwakali Exeter knew they had the ref on their side for the night
