Was about to post the same thing but you beat me to it. Worst CH in many a year. No strength, no positional sense, useless in the air and soft as. Echo your sentiments….just pay the bloke off.

 

Nowhere near the worst centre half we've had in years. But this last couple of weeks he's acting like it. he's been truly abysmal.

 

I can't find it and can't be bothered to search for it.

But we had in his first few games rave reviews from another one of our players.

I first clapped eyes on him when me and our kid went to Fleetwood.

I saw enough in that game to warn this BBS he may struggle

So if I saw that in one game. Things that looked blatantly obvious to me as a fan on the terraces, why are we surprised that such as MDG is being recruited too?

I think that’s a bit harsh. I’ve never been a fan but he and CoK drop into the category of ‘tries hard but just not up to it - and not improving.’ We’ve a few in that category.

The other category is’ got talent, but has the heart the size of a pea’. We’ve a few in that camp as well.

 

I've never been a massive fan, weak in the air, not the strongest, always has a mistake in him.

Hard to see how anyone can stick up for MDG. We’ll never build anything solid defensively with likes of him. Liability….get rid.

 

You’ve defended him manfully TTTF, but honestly, he is among the worst we’ve had, and there’s quite some competition.

As I’ve said in another post, you can’t knock the lad for effort and commitment, but he’s just not up to it. And, he’s not getting any better.
