It's like having the powder puff twins up front with Watters &Jalo. Watters just strolled about like he hadn't a care, and Jalo has the physical presence of a 10 year old. Talking of weak MDG **** himself and went down like a house of cards every time their player challenged him.
Conor has had an absolute free shot at being the hero with 4 very winnable games that would have put us right in the play off mix, unfortunately we've fallen flat on our faces and is yet another failure from Malden in trying to micro manage our season's.
Just hope all the ones predicting Jalo to be our saviour realise he’s pony !!! Yes he’s a young lad ( if you’re good enough you’re old enough!),he was by some distance the worst player on the field, yes you could argue he had an off day and they were all bad but that was awful! Really really don’t get the hype? If he’s a Barnsley lad I would understand but he’s from Lisbon probably has no feelings for the club or fans, until this year I’d never been to Portugal but was in Lisbon in February, nice place but I’ve never ever been anywhere where I’ve been approached as much asking if I wanted Hash ir Coke no matter the time of day, I’m guessing that’s what some of our fans have been smoking wanting him to be the messiah.
You're welcome! My job involves quite a bit of proofreading. Stuff like that jumps off the page when I read it and the urge to correct it becomes overwhelming. I should probably get out more!
Data tells you nothing without the ability to interpret it. The eye test shows a minor improvement in quite a few areas. Substitutions for example are much more effective. Unfortunately we have a very poor team with defenders making weekly errors. Makes progress very difficult / impossible.
Results do count though Jimmy, and they have been awfully disappointing under Conor, against some rather 'average' teams. Yeah I'm all for the small steps and signs of improvement etc, but he's not my choice as the new long term manager/coach. And I doubt if we'll win any of these remaining games.
Strictly speaking, he couldn't possibly have cost us 4 points in the 2 games, because we got 1, and it's not possible to get 5 points in 2 games.
I thought our second half performance was the best we've played for a long while until the appalling error from De Gevigney ruined everything.
I like Flavell. He's remarkably confident for a young lad with so little experience. He's responded well to Conor's faith in him.
Go on I will bite,he's a young lad just starting out on his professional career 2nd league start is it. He's been out injured most of the season then comes into a side that is beyond struggling. He's a confidence flair player if any type of player is going to struggle in the current **** show that is our 1st team it's him, the lads full potential that's all but surely he's due abit of slack from your bile for at least a short while.
I can’t agree with that. Maybe better than the last game against Blackpool but the 3 games previous to that were far better than what we’ve seen under Hourihane. Until we rested our best players after an hour the Lincoln performance was as good as anything we’ve seen all season. We were excellent for an hour. That was against better opposition than anyone we’ve played against under Hourihane as well.
I can’t really make sense of Jalo. My eyes tell me he’s absolutely knackered after 30 minutes & is only useful as a substitute yet people at the club tell us he needs 30 minutes to warm into a game. I don’t know if he doesn’t fuel himself properly or if he’s just poor athletically.
