I thought we were loads better

I actually thought we over performed in the first half of the season. Based on what I was seeing on the pitch in the games I wasn't convinced we deserved to be as high in the table. In loads of games we looked gash but managed to pick up 3pts.

 

I only saw the 2nd half so I can't tell how bad we were in the first half. That said, apart from the goal we didn't look that good.

Only DKD looked any good to me.

Where is the desire?
Where is the fighting spirit?
Where is the skill?

I get that the season has petered out but the players are supposed to be professional and those watching paid good money to see a team put on a show. The amounts paid (even in League 1) demand that players give 100% every game.

Those with long term contracts should be honouring them. Those likely to be offloaded at the end of the season, ought to be treating these games as a shop window.

Or am I just a bit deluded in thinking this?

 

I saw no improvement complete and utter bilge and every game that passes we seem to regress even more.
