Day 1 is all about if Constitution Hill who Bet 365 have boosted to 7/4 can bounce back after a disappointing Cheltenham or if Lossiemouth can gain revenge for losing their last battle back at Kempton on Boxing Day.

Bit worrying that a few companies have boosted Constution but he’s still top class in spite of his fall.

Stumptown made light work of the Cross Country at Cheltenham with quite a big weight and looks likely to finish favourite.
He must be in with a chance

He was dodgy with his jumping in his race before Cheltenham. Back to back races of poor jumping is a worry and most people seem to blame Nico not Constitution Hill. I hope it gets back to winning ways because any time Mullins loses it's good. Lossiemouth is the best mare since Annie Power in my eyes. 8 year old male vs 6 year old female. #LossieHill will be the race of the meeting outside the Grand National. Lossie should get close with her gender allowance.

It should be a good contest anyway.
    I think you’ve forgotten Honeysuckle

Honeysuckle would have picked up Lossiemouth, put her in her pocket then won the Champion Hurdle. Miles better mare.

Both have got doubts about them, I've had a wild swing at the outsider at 50s.

The Bowl was a shocking race. If Gaelic Warrior can win a G1 as easily as that then, its poor.

Looking forward to this now though.

Nico needs to be taken off Constitution Hill now. He makes too many mistakes on the horse and it will be losing the owners a lot of money in future stud fees.

Racing is so boring with Mullins filling races with many runners to win them all.

    I think that's the last we'll see of C.H.

The proximity of the outsiders at the last tells you all you need to know about that form imo. 125s shot within about 4 lengths.

Good attitude from Lossie though tbf, she didn't look happy earlier in the race.

I did think Constitution was a poor bet at those odds. Glad I stayed clear

That’s last time I back CH.

My money is on urine coming off the grandstand side, i think he'll pi*s it, that said big D*ck if handled correctly should win by a length
Don't bother with the old horse FordCortina it's a non starter
Boy George he's expected to come from behind,
Passionate Lady is another who's expected to do well, she always runs well when the Vibrator Comes in to play, that said the Vibrator finished her off but unfortunately she came second after Big D*ck shot to the front, before getting pulled up personally i think Big D*cks came too soon and wasnt paced correctly
The two Welsh colts Gonorrhoea and Diarrhoea who if history teaches us anything will most likely run down the inside of the Leg, that said the last time Diarrhoea ran, he got stopped by the Bicycleclip

Starmer will no doubt fall short again, although on previous outings he did attack the Pensioners and soundly beat The Disabled, who in all honesty finished last, but limped home safely, many said he shouldn't have ran in the first place because he was severely handicapped, according to his trainer Pip,
Disabled had plenty of mobility and was worthy of an early Examination, talking of which Examintain is expected to see off the old horse, Elven Plus should that rear it's head again
Another filly Reeves, is expect to fail badly against Tarriffs, especially, if its jockey T.Rump has his way. Carpet is expected to cover some ground, Whitewash that's another that likes to run and usually sticks to the rails
One horse definitely not Running is the young colt Benson, last time out he pulled up and is injured.so no surprise there
Another doubt is the American horse Pines, apparently he's not fit enough to run

I was talking with the owner of the old horse Barnsley, he reckoned it was a good each way bet to finish in the first 3 or 4 places, the man's deluded, mind you he is still looking for a new trainer for the stable
Another horse for an each way bet and one to lookout for, is Farage, hes done well in Europe
but has a track record of failing badly after many a good start, possibly a good double, him and Hot air usually go hand in hand.
Good luck who ever you back
Ivor Saddle the Yorkshire trainer reckons Knickers is a certainty to fall down at the 3rd if he's got any chance of a hand in it
Nearly forgot the young horse Phillips he's got every chance this Saturday too
    Have Fun ,
Don't forget Edwina Curry she rides the Egg out of the salmonella stable, The Egg was badly beaten at Yolk 3 weeks ago

Leaving aside the (presumably) WUM comments about stud fees :D I'd have some sympathy with this view. Nico's positioning coming to the second last allowed him to fall victim to a classic "half-lengthing" (Dawson - I'll explain later!) The horse was at least half a length down but took off at the same time as those either side. So whereas they cleared the hurdle, CH clipped it. Better positioning would have avoided that. All the more with the horse having made jumping errors on it's previous two outings. But jumping folk are fiercely loyal, and they may not wish Nico to carry the can. To be fair, he has been the partner for all CH's previous triumphs, and he is his own fierceist critic. I don't know who'd ride if they attempted to sub him. And finally, it would be intriguing to see whether CH would treat fences with more respect.
