I see the Lump Sum has been withdrawn. Probably something to do with Trump.

Having ignored yesterday, I'm dutching Kopeck De Mee and Tintintin (Humphreys must have shot) in the second today.

In the 2.20 I think Wellington Arch could go well, esp as an each-way punt. Was quite a bit bigger on the exchange last night (22.0) but has still got value (12.5) and there are 7 places available. Its racing obviously so anything can happen but the horse's stats look good and it looks like it's still improving at the trip.

I was watching the horse's walk round the paddock at last years meeting, when I got a sudden urge to talk to a particular horse called Delta Work, first of all I said you look well and very smart, dont you think, he nodded his head in agreement, I asked are you going to win today, he replied
Neigh ....he was right came second ....I'll get mi coite
Serious note, which i didnt know, The 3 times Cheltenham winner aged 12 died on the 20th of February after a dose of Collic

I once bought a pony for my daughter but she never rode it as it constantly coughed. Turned out it was a little hoarse.
    P.s. You started it!

    Few bets today from me.

Monmiral in the Stayers Hurdle. Nicholls seems to be flying, and I don't like the top end of the market.

Duffle Coat in the Big One. Brought down 2 out over 3m6f at Cheltenham when staying on. Loves the ground. Jockey goes well on him.

    We move.

In the 1.20, particularly now one or two are non-runners Bill Joyce ticks a lot of boxes. I think. A lot of these are being upped in trip here and Bill Joyce looks to me most likely to adapt. Will be checking the e/w market on the exchange.
In the National I'm conscious of the fact that its a bit like a lottery so I like a price with some juice. Threeunderthrufive appeals for that reason. Very game, relatively lightly raced, good stats, Nicholls and Skelton. Was 60.0 on Betfair yesterday so I had 2 quid each way on it - 8 places. Anybody who puts massive amounts of cash on this race is nuttier than a peanut bar!

    1st and 4th for me.

Picked Nick Rockett because I watched the racing morning show today and when they showed the horse it was rolling about on its back having a right old time. Looked a happy horse in great fettle.
