    Currently coaching in Chelsea's academy and is open to talks
    Away from his history around his antics off the field, he is in the same vein of thought about dedication and discipline and application on the field of play

    Didnt he leave assistant role at premier / championship clubs? Id be surprised if he dropped all the way to league one to be a coach, perhaps head coach/manager maybe but nothing else. He will be on more coin in Chelsea academy anyway.

    Personally I think it would be a statement of intent, from the board.
    At the moment Terry is working part time I'm led to believe with Chelsea's academy and is open to offers, to return to full time coaching.
    The experience he would bring is second to none regarding defending.
    He is also well thought of in the game and is another individual with a wide range of Contacts in the game.
    He is close friends with Dennis Wise and Tim Cahill, who are personal friends with J.A.Q
    Footnote both were in attendance at Oakwell late last year as guests of J.A.Q. so there is a closer connection than most folk know.
    So don't rule it out

    Conor Hourihane and John Terry both joined Aston Villa in 2017, John as a player for one season then a coaching capacity (also assistant manager to Dean Smith) until 2021. Where as Conor left in 2022.

    So they will know eachother quite well. So it would make sense
