Will have a listen. Any friday club listeners on here? Yes sometimes its a bit childish and immature but youve got to laugh at some of the stories/antics

Yep, it's brilliant. So many good ones. Lidds, Adam Hammill, Big Ron. Got Mick Quinn on my list for next week.

The one where he says at his time at brum he said to steve Bruce "come on me and you let's sort it out on cobbles" quite a old one but yes really good. Bruce held it against him that he wouldn't sign for him at Huddersfield and opted to stay at Barnsley.

Thanks for this. Terrific account of football at the raw end. It also goes some way to showing why 1996-97 could never happen again for us. Sadly, the game has moved on.
