Office use. Print quality isn't really important, neither are any features as we have more advanced printers. Just want something that's as cheap as possible to run for printing lots of pages

We have a Samsung M2020 mono laser. It’s actually made by HP. It’s worked well for home working over the last five or so years, and you can get third party toner cartridges for about a tenner. Works out less than a penny a page.

My main advice would be don’t overpay, either for the unit or the cartridges.

Do you have any idea how many prints you get out of a toner?'

It’s over 1000 pages - quoted at 1800 on the smaller ones. The larger toner does about double.

If you want literally the same printer a quick google shows you can pick one up off eBay for about £10.

Sorry I can't advise on model, but I can brand - I've got a Brother, second hand from ebay, and scanner, photocopier (and fax!). Works a treat.

I find HP and Epsom and the like come with too much bloatware. This has the drivers and that's it. Worked wired as you'd expect.
