Unless he’s got a decent move lined up why would he accept a pay off? I assume we’re paying him more than Farsley Celtic will.

I’m not sure he would get in their team

    My thoughts
Hope Humphrys change of agreement is in the positive sense and not designed to shift him on.

James looked a real find, but it seems an eternity ago. What went wrong?

I wish Dyer had been given the same 'chance' that was afforded Rodrigues. Whether that had been bench warming or odd minutes.

On Rodrigues (again). Why? Just ........ why?

    Ditto Jon Lewis.

Benson might just hit the ground running.

    Sormaz is still employed.

Despite me not rating Marsh, I genuinely wish him luck and hope he builds a career.

We are still left with some real imbalance and a fair smattering of dross

Well he's got 11 goals from midfield this season. We've just let 3 strikers go who wouldn't score 11 league one goal if they played in league one for the rest of there careers.

Scoring goals this year hasn’t really been much of an issue - Wrexham and Charlton scored fewer and we’re comparable to those promoted or in the playoffs; it’s at the back and reducing the goals against where we need to prioritise recruitment

There’s the start of a competitive team comprising

    New GK

    New RB
    New CB
    Shepherd
    New LB

    Bland
    Russell/Connell
    Phillips/Russell

    Humphreys
    DKD
    Jalo

Probably because they would have to pay him off, so hoping to offload him

Youth players aren’t really on much salary-wise - maybe they’re frustrated at no chances and want to go prove themselves - otherwise I think we can be far too hasty getting rid.

Nathan James is a surprise. Dyer should have been given a chance over Rodrigues. Acadamy/ Development is taking a kicking. Obviously they cant list players we may sell but expect more departures..The offered a contract list has some names I'm not up to date with but think Humphrys will be a pay cut deal. Only lost one coach so far but back room staff must be nervous.

Rodrigues might be the most baffling signing I can remember in my time watching us. Did we think we were signing a different bloke called Rodrigues who could actually play football?

    Lewis too.

Both played about 45 minutes of football for us. Both gone. Both Mladen specialities.

    Shame he's not been released.

Lewis was linked with us before Mladen came to Barnsley.I was hoping he would be vying for one of the winger spots.

Dyer being released might shake up the academy as well, hopefully they're out of Bruces arse now.
