Who was the conditioning coach? Mr kipling? On a serious note though the rebuild of staff and players is a good thing. The conor era.
Surprised about Gilks going with him only being here a couple of months. Obviously CH is making the backroom staff his own.
Where's this been posted? Seen on X that stead is set to join Clarke at Bristol but not seen anything about any of the others going yet.
No idea how good he is, but perhaps worth pointing out we had the 5th best goals scored record in the division without a recognised out and out striker.
"His time at Barnsley was pivotal in cementing his reputation as a promising coaching talent, ready for a bigger challenge" ...at Bristol Rovers?!
If "conditioning coach" means fitness coach ....then fantastic news...imho a very unfit team and it showed in the second half stats / goals against column......you could see it on the pitch, clear as day. Another area we failed in big time.
Seriously... Flavell never user's his hands.. as big as a house and never catches the ball.. some coaching that..
This is what does my head in. Gilks has been here since February and you're making comments such as this about a young, inexperienced lad who wont be in his prime until late 20s early 30s. It doesn't and will never happen over night. Strange.
He mentioned Flavell not catching the ball, that's all. Gilks in one training session should be able to coach a keeper to catch and not flap or punch.
