Sunday thought! Be good if we could could arrange 2/3 at home to non league teams rather than the usually away trip…be nice to install a winning mentality at home with the new recruits before the season starts

It would be good to have:

    a) A couple of games on the Algarve (Farense, Portimao) and training camp.

    b) A marquee home friendly before the big KO

I thought that part of the point of friendlies at non league teams was to give them a bit of a payday. I overheard a few Alfreton fans last season who were disappointed at the turnout by our fans last season, so it's probably unlikely that we'll be playing them this season.

Be good to have some interesting home friendlies for a change like when we played Santos and Bordeaux.

I think some fans once they've chalked up a non league ground/friendly. Tend to give the next one a miss. Then it's just the diehards shall we say.
Obviously the first team squad newbies are an attraction for our fans if named to appear.
I prefer away games tbh. Nice to visit non league grounds.

I tend for do one friendly and base it on how attractive it is. Accrington last season. I’m sure we can do better despite it being a good day out.

Don’t think there will be home games, the pitch will potentially be late if it’s not ripped up till after the Simpson feyt

Halifax away. It was fun last time and easy enough to get to.
    Grimsby would be a laugh.
Nailed on for Derby at home I reckon.
