    Obviously we need a new one....But ...what are folk expecting to see on the scoreboard? I mean apart from the obvious score which if im honest i cant say ive ever forgot during a game.

    Video ads, promotional material, paid for messages from supporters. That's for the club to generate money.

    Getting a bunch of TVs off amazon and putting them together is just about the worst idea i’ve heard honestly.

    Not only would that be horrendous for outdoor visibility, you’d have lines all through it from the edges of the TVs - AND it would be a lot more expensive than proper outdoor displays. a 1mx1m panel is only a few hundred quid. can get a good amount of them and put them together.

    I’d be very surprised if it adds nothing to peoplea match day experience. I remember going to the new AMEX years ago and they had goal footage from the recent midweek away match and past meetings of the two teams on the screen before the match, it oozed quality and professionalism to be honest. Don’t think of it purely as a a scoreboard, it should be used for much more than that. I went to Atletico the other day, they had three large ones around the top of the stands and all 4 goal replays were straight up there every time.
