From a selfish point of view, Stockport. Got a mate who supports them so it's good to meet up with him before the games. Though for his benefit, I want them to win too. I've just met him for a quick pint (he can't go tonight) and he's confident they'll get it done tonight, but thinks Charlton will edge them in the final. Orient have become a bit of a bogey team for us though
Leyton Orient, I think they will be weaker than Stockport, Wellens will be off come first championship sackings.
I didn't know that Charlton were already in the final...That's Wycombe's team talk done for tomorrow....
I went to Stockport away this season. Pines fell over to gift their first goal and Earl gave away a penalty for second. DKD scored very late for a consolation but we were never at the races for this game. I this Orient are a better team for what it's worth.
Orient are the better of the two currently imo but they are also the most likely to fall off as most of their better players are on loan or are out of contract this summer and won't be likely to return. As someone else said. I can also very much see Wellens getting a championship job offer or two in the coming weeks.
I remember the opposite being said to be honest. Everyone was going on about their transfer business at the start of last season, and how they were going to get promoted. They finished 16th.
Stockport with their nice Puma kits, stadium redevelopment plans, nice little touches like electronic advertising boards and video board.
To be fair the Stockport signing of Cosgrove was similar to our signing of Rodrigues both absolutely pointless.
