The deadline to get your Season Ticket for the cheapest possible price, both as new holders and renewals, closes at 4pm on Thursday 22nd May. The club doesn’t communicate, and they’re not transparent. They do communicate, and they’re desperate. They really can’t win with some people.
Honestly think the advertising for season tickets has been a bit over the top tbh. All the billboards must’ve cost a bob or two. Can’t see many seeing them and thinking they suddenly need to buy one. People will make their own mind up and the main way to restore some faith is with some decent signings. Just extend the EB by a month and get a couple of signings announced…..
I think it’s a response to the complaints online about the box office only being open during standard midweek working hours.
It was closed yesterday which I found very strange. Last Saturday, before the deadline ends, and the ticket office was shut. I nipped into the Club Shop to ask if they could help me, but they couldn’t. Two staff, no (current) stock and no customers, yet the Box Office was closed. The ticket website was telling me ‘access denied’, though my son reset my password, so we could renew, only to get ‘card not recognised’ upon attempting to pay. I am totally struck dumb. All the marketing asking us to buy tickets but many obstacles preventing us from doing so.
It could be a lonely existence, similar to our village hall on local election day when two people sit for 15 hours waiting for maximum 100 voters to turn up, which never happens.
