Anybody watching why don,t they just change tyres like f1 instead of just coasting round till it stops!
He's making a left turn , a left turn, really thundering into the left turn. Another left turn into a left turn & he's making a left into another left turn.
I love F1 and watch pretty much every race but have never been bothered about Indycar. Or really any other motorsports to be honest. Saw an advert for it yesterday and it claimed it is the “greatest spectacle in motor racing”. Why are American things always known as the greatest like Super Bowl, Indycar apparently and other things.
Indi car races are more exciting than f1 you only had to watch the Monaco Grand Prix to confirm that like watching paint dry.
I have nothing to compare as I mentioned I have never watched Indycar but you’re mentioning the worst F1 race on the calendar so hardly a fair baseline. Monaco was incredibly dull yesterday and the mandatory pit stops only made it seem more gimmick-y. It needs to be removed and I’ve been saying it for years. I don’t care about the prestige of it and the fact loads of celebrities love it, it’s not fit for purpose as a race in F1.
Don’t get me wrong I like f1 but Indi cars seem to be all of a similiar level which makes it a more exciting.
Being the fastest in Indy car isn’t necessarily the best option to win. The constant yellow flags and pit stops keep bunching the cars back up. Charging off in to the distance is a waste of fuel and tyres. The first 95% of the race is about endurance and being in the top 10 come the end of the race.
