Terrible game of football. Wimbledon the better team, but both would struggle next season.

Always pleased to see Wimbledon do well, though. Good for them, getting promoted to a league above that other team.

Absolute shocker of a game. Zero quality on offer. Walsall fans must detest Stoke City. All but promoted at Christmas before Stoke took Nathan Lowe back and then barely played him. Bizarre decision that has cost Walsall big time.

Definitely be a better day out for Wimbledon than Walsall, also got connections with them so I’m happy

Absolute cart horse up front for Walsall. We've all been there :(.

Why should they detest Stoke City? He wasn't their player and is it not a team game? Sorry, but they don't deserve to go up if they're so reliant on one individual player. For me it just shows how poor the rest of their team is.

Great memories of Wimbledon... 1-1 draw at Plough Lane in '79. Pitch invasion at the end.

If he’d been allowed to stay I’m pretty certain they’d have made the top 3 if not won the league. He was scoring for fun. I’m sure if it was us we wouldn’t feel too chuffed?

Isn’t new ground only about 200 yards from where the original one was?

To be fair, wasn’t it the knock on impact from Leicester recalling (and then selling) Tom Cannon from Stoke? Assume they recalled him to fill that void but then he didn’t really do it for them.

Maybe we should ask for loan next season to see if he can step up to league 1? Preferably remove the recall clause though….

Could do worse for sure. Reckon a few L1 clubs will be after loaning him though.

It's annoying if he doesn't get played though.

Stop judging teams on their play off final performances. They are pretty much always tight and cagey games where neither team plays particularly well.
