I'm still annoyed, politest word i could think of.

Two shocking decisions by the officials with the sending off and failure to give us a first half penalty. The fact that the officials were promoted to the Premier League roster afterwards leaves a more sour taste and speculation of corruption.

Luca Connells miss (that he doesn't seem to have recovered from), Bobby Thomas's poor headed clearance that allowed the goal and I think Isted should have done better.

Those are the negatives but I was so proud of our performance and togetherness despite playing against a loaded deck, The team and particularly Isted kept us pushing! The fans were superb, we might have been out numbered but we weren't out gunned.

My son’s first away trip. He insisted on buying the scarf.

I saw someone share the clip of the foul on Kitching & I still can’t believe we didn’t get a penalty for it.

I see some proper soft penalties given by VAR regularly yet that wasn’t.

I don’t like accusing people of being corrupt but I can’t believe anyone can watch that & think it’s not a penalty.

The Phillips challenge is more subjective, I think it’s a harsh red but it’s not the worst decision in the world but the challenge would have never happened had the penalty been given.

Bad decisions from a referee mentored by Gary Willard allegedly set us back at least 10 years :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I dreaded the thought of losing to them at Wembley, but surprisingly wasnt too bothered when it happened.

Said to ar lass just before the attack started that this was it then, it's time for penalties.

About 15 seconds later i've got her hitting my arm saying i cursed us and it was my fault they scored. Best thing about it was i stood up instinctively to walk off in distress only to realise we're at wembley and there's no where to walk to, so i just slumped back in my chair.

We'd not even got back on the bus when she piped up again saying "are you gunna have the monk on all the way home now?"

    bad, bad day that.

    I reckon it was fixed.

It’s the only logical explanation for that decision. (The penalty) not being reviewed.

I haven’t spoken to any one person who didn’t think it was a penalty

I never fancied us to win, so even though we had some bad decisions against us and we missed a gilt edged chance, after a few minutes of being really miffed, I was beyond it.

Stewing over that result doesn't make us more likely to get promoted this coming season.

    Don’t talk soft.

He missed a sitter yeah - but we were robbed by two corrupt decisions.

If we are saying Connell robbed us, then Bobby Thomas robbed us by not heading a ball properly, and Harry Isted robbed us for having biscuit wrists.

I’m still more hurt that I wasn’t there (though in the end it might have been for the best), I was in Florida on a holiday that had been booked for two and a half years.

After watching that I spent that afternoon and evening at Disney Springs spending an absolute fortune on absolute shi.te!!! I still think Robinson robbed me more than Mickey Mouse though.

Only upsides were a) meeting Mads' family in central London before the game, and b) missing their goal as we'd gone to the bogs to beat the rush before penalties. Stood there, having a pi** and wondering what the crowd roar was about....

The way that team was ripped apart afterwards would have left us struggling big time in the Champ. I know circumstances would have changed but it could have been very embarrassing.
Even Weds couldn't handle it for the best part of the season.
Nontheless I thoroughly enjoyed the day at Wembley despite the result. Great day, great occasion, lovely weather, great fans behaving well.
    Crap result but never mind.

I think I was more disappointed at Wembley in 2000 to be honest. The team that season was excellent and we would surely have won but for that missed penalty and that miraculous save from Hristov's point blank header.
