We still got closer than expected, and Id say it was the poor bowling that cost us this time.
But seriously, are there any real big fans of T20 cricket on here ?.

Shows how far we've fallen. Weird club though. Brought in Gibson and Masood to try and show they aren't racist to keep test Cricket and then got shut of both as soon as they could.

Well that was closer than I expected and you have to look at that first over as the one that killed our chances. Malan was reckless but it was a good catch. Lyth stupidly got himself run out. From 9-3 to finish 224-9 is a great recovery but 13 runs behind Northants. Very disappointing in the end.

    Thought Wharton ran Lyth out.

We've always been ***** at T20 cricket, I think it's pathetic since it's introduction some 20 odd years ago that we've made very few finals days. I believe we're one of four counties not to win the T20 trophy.
Change the coach and players but we're still *****.

Looks like we might have got a decent overseas batsman in Sutherland. Imagine the fireworks if him and Malan got a partnership going!

I'm a fan of Yorkshire, so in all formats, and T20 is the easiest to watch as it's outside of work hours, on TV more and doesn't last all day.

T20 provides the most financial benefit to the club, at least it would if we ever did any good... money that could be re-invested in the squad for all formats, or youth etc.

I'm actually a 'purest' and prefer Test cricket over one day stuff, but at county level the Blast is important, and it's embarrassing that we've been to 2 finals days, one final and no wins.

    Pathetic isn't it.

Something about YCCC that brings out the inner Wednesdayite in a lot of supporters.

Went last night, we actually got back into the game after being pummeled in the field, thought they may have even gone close to 300 at one stage
Then after the calamity of our 1st over batting we battled ourselves back in it, we we're on par score and above for quite a while
Another concern to some but not others was to close all the bars at the innings break!
But at £7.30 a pint, kinda glad

I got there earlier than planned, just after 5pm and got myself a pint. I was just about to walk away from the bar when the young lad informed me he forgot pints were half price for the first (I think) half hour, so pulled me another one.

I don’t know if that’s a regular thing? Usually only get there about 10 mins before start time, but at £6.80 a pint I wasn’t turning it down..

We complain at our board, but the Yorkshire one have no excuse. Biggest county, six major cities nine racecourses bigger population than a small nation and full of Yorkshire pride and still they can’t give us a winning cricket team.
