Rail travel is free on matchday if you have a ticket.
We were going to go to England v Wales, staying at Zurich Airport and using the trains.
Sold them though as my daughter has bought a house and is now skint!

Yeah that’s similar to what we looked at. Biggest issue was timings of flights.
Went to Portugal cost around £600 all in.

    Good to know.

Flying out Friday 4th LBA-Amsterdam-Zurich. Germany v Poland in St Gallen Fri night, Eng v France Sat night in Zurich, fly back Sunday.

Flights with KLM were OK, hotels (1 room 2 adults and a 17 year-old) about £250 a night though. And spends......still should be great, daughter very excited. Only negative to get 3 tkts for England game had to get 2 and 1 so I'm on my tod for the match.

Worth finding out where these are going to be on March days, we met up with them in Portugal & my daughter loved it.

I remember the last time Schweisse hosted the Euros, in the '08 mens tournament, we/England weren't there.
Was that in the days of Steve McClaren as manager, the wally with the brolly.
