Just got tickets to see The Prodigy in Leeds next year for the 3rd time. Probably my favourite live band of all time, with or without the legend Keith Flint.

They are being supported by Carl Cox who will to quote be doing a 2 hour 3 deck vinyl set and there's a lot of excitement I've seen from fans about this.

Honestly though I've never heard of him, he was probably a bit before my time. Has anyone watched him live before and will he be worth watching? Any info would be really appreciated

    One for @Terry Nutkins.

But Carl Cox was huge when I was a lad, and that’s going back over 30 years. I’m not really into the scene these days to know more.

Carl Cox was immense back when Ibiza was all the rage. If he's half as good as he was then, you're in for a treat.

I've seen Prodigy twice and very envious, though not sure I could be as hardcore as I was at their Brixton gig years ago which started after midnight. Enjoy!

Carl Cox was a regular at the best underground techno night in Leeds in the 90's... Legend of the genre.

Saw him last week on the Isle of Man, lovely bloke massively in to his motorbikes and the TT.

I’m pretty sure his set will be something to remember.

Got the residency at UNVRS in Ibiza. Still up there (apparently) with the best in that genre

One of the biggest djs on the planet back in the 90s. Techno and house is his thing. I'd definitely go, nothing to lose but an experience!

Loads of stuff in YouTube. His Burning Man set from this year is good if you can ignore the hipsters and poncey crowd :D

Saw Carl Cox a couple of times back in the day - once at Manumission and once a 3 hour set at Gatecrasher. Absolutely took the roof off GC, despite being very different to most people who played there. Banging tribal techno. After he'd finished playing he just wandered round the club chatting to people. Absolute legend. Larger than life, but very humble and down to earth.

Thank you! Manumission. I was trying to think where I’d seen him and had Pascha in my head for some reason.

Carl Cox is a legend. Great bloke and still a top DJ.

Hes gettting a million pound a set for playing at UNVRS this season, so he’s still in big demand.

I’ve always thought that there’s more talented technicians out there but there’s no doubting he can create a party.

He’ll be great on that tour.

I’ve tried to book him a few times over the years but never been close to getting it over the line. I know his agent, as he’s the same agent that Sasha and Digweed have who I’ve dealt with loads of times but never got him to let me have Carl Cox, and now he’s getting a million a set there’s fcukking no chance!

A million pound a set - wow, he’s there all season with a residency isn’t he?

no wonder they’re charging 50 euros for a burger in there.

The standing tickets were £67 (£9 of that was ticket fees).

The seating tickets ranged from £44-£75 I believe.
