That will be interesting...they tore us a new A#se hole once they stepped it up, last time we played them.
Didn't we start with a 15 year old centre half? With Yoganathan up front behind Lofthouse? Bland, Wilkinson, Dyer, Nejman, McCann amongst other youngsters all played in that game
I genuinely couldn't care less mate. I'm so happy we won it when we did, because it's a farce now. Imagine two under 21's teams playing each other at Wembley. Yet another ploy to keep bigger clubs happy so it's meaningless for me now.
It’s what it needs, under teams to play in front of a couple of thousands of fans to show the absurdity of the competition in its current form
It's the only competition we are ever likely to win so I want us to give it a go. I accept the under 21 inclusion has made it far worse and a bit of a piss take but still, the teams who get to Wembley have a good day out.
Imagine how embarrassing it'll be if we lose at Wembley to an u21 team and its not even fully under 21. I remember Leicester playing their old Polish centre half, think he was about 37 at the time!
It had a bit of meaning 10 years ago, if you reached the Area Semi Final. Now it's just a farce, like everything else
