Is that "i" part of the shirt?

Just reminded me of the bloke whose nickname was Keth.
His real name was Keith but he'd got an eye missing. :)

Separate ‘alternate’ shirt sponsor then? Otherwise, why state they are home shirt sponsor?

For the record, I think shirts should be called Principal and Alternate. And you only change from Principal if no other choice.

Nice to be able to speak freely on the topic.

Speaking of changing to an alternate strip for no reason, did anyone see The Big Match last weekend? It was 1985 and Fulham v Chelsea was the main feature with Fulham in their normal white/black/white. Chelsea had no reason to change from their usual blue strip yet played in red shirts, white shorts and green socks. I didn’t hear any explanation - just looked odd.

Looking more promising than most of our recent home shirts. Very much hope we're back to being a red and white army.

It'll probably have a rainbow collar and come with brown shorts

Seriously, it looks good and I think we need a relatively plain shirt after the last few offerings.

Red Shirts, White Shorts. All we ask for, looks like Auntie Julie’s influence on the kit has been stopped.

The shade of red looks completely different. That could just be the angle and lighting though.

Looking at the official snippets, you can see the darker band around the ribs and the far shoulder does look like its darker, so could easily be the oil spill design! What a shame, so close.

Yep, just having a nosey on the official site now. Think you're right. Still prefer it to last season's if it turns out to be correct.

If it is that one with the darker red on the right shoulder then I will be disappointed, looks like it needs washing. Potentially so close but so far away

It wouldn't be bad if it had a white collar.

I think it's supposed to be based on the 97/98 home shirt. I don't think the lighting on the 'leaked' one does it justice. I don't think the rose/bloodstain will look as prominent up close.

I don't get the dark red collar though.

Edit: there are stripes under the arms on that one too, but it's not very prominent from that picture.
