    Doesn't seem two minutes ago that he was conveying the sad news that he had cancer. It was obviously a quite aggressive cancer. R.I.P. Al and thoughts with Kate at this sad time.

    Didn't know him. Don't think I've ever seen a podcast of his. Wouldn't recognise a photo of him. But I know that his name is one I've heard mentioned about a billion times as a Barnsley fan and I don't think a single one of those times has been a negative comment at all. That is the sign of a good person. A popular person. And a person who has touched many lives.

    My heart goes out to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
