    Max Watters is recovering from illness. Shepherd had an op on his shoulder end of the season and while back in training couldn’t play today. Lopata and Smith are both recovering from injuries picked up last season.

    no clue where Lofthouse and Dallas were. Maybe set to leave?

    First half team was much better. Emley had the best two chances early on and Phillips looked uninterested. Then all of a sudden he gets a good assist and we are winning.

    Farrugia with a goal of the season contender already. Vital played alright as well.

    Nice to see Richard Poulain being the pitch announcer. We all have happy memories of him.

    1546 there so another good payday for a well run non league club.

    Officials make those at our level look amazing. They missed a penalty we should have had. Gave a few corners that were goal kicks. Missed a few offsides.

    Dallas was sat to the left of the dugout with the team for the second half. Him and Max were there. Not wearing training kits just sat in “normal” clothes.

    Enjoyed that. Bland was head and shoulders above everyone in the first half, played in a more familiar midfield role, and played a lovely pass for the 2nd goal. We were a bit more wasteful in possession in the 2nd half, though Yoganathan had a decent game, getting hold of the ball and driving at their defence.

    Overall, a decent run out, and a great following by our fans.

    Fair assessment. Play wise it looked like last season. I wasn't seeing much of this urgency to get the ball forward, press etc we've been hearing about. Still early days.

    Cotter offside twice in the first half. Needs to work at that.
