    Good to see that Tommy Taylor continued to play for us nearly 40 years after his death. Is this some AI generated bilge? Almost every fact on here is wrong.

    I'd have Mick McCarthy in there ahead of Dobbin, as much as I liked Jim.

    Difficult to rate the likes of Tommy Taylor and Danny Blanchflower as I saw neither play and never seen footage of them in a Barnsley shirt either. Tommy only played 44 games before going to Man U so it's hard to count him as a "Barnsley Legend", likewise Blanchflower who played 68 games.

    I'd find it difficult to name the top ten
    In my time watching us over 60yrs (the link does say are these) as there are many I could fit in.
    A shot at it
    Glavin
    McCarthy
    Banks
    Readders
    Higgy
    Curry
    Muller
    Stuart Gray
    Paul Futcher
    Barraclough.
    But so many others have been brilliant for Barnsley. And I include Dobbin among em. For some reason Mel Machin overlooked him when he took charge. Even though Dobbin was a class act. Playing him in the reserves and performing out of his skin.
    As for the article did he actually do his own research. A few flaws in there. And his write up on Tommy Taylor eh.
