The young defender we released in the summer, has signed for BG Pathum United, one of the top teams in Thailand. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on because I liked the look of him on the odd occasion I saw him.
Me too. Was very disappointed he didn't get opportunities here whilst we were struggling because he looked excellent in his limited minutes, and I was a bit gutted he left. But obviously those at the club have seen him a lot more than I have so hopefully doesn't come back to bite us in the bum.
Similarly to others, I thought he looked good in pre season (last season was it?) but I guess the coaching team don’t believe he developed enough. Good luck to him and hopefully some of the other players that were released get clubs soon too.
So did I (rate him that is), but I think someone on here kinda intimated summat had gone off and thats why he wasnt anywhere near the first team.
Could be Chinese whispers . I'm none the wiser ,and was always under the impression he was highly rated by the coaches.
I don’t think there was anything sinister in it. I think he just fell behind Barrett in the pecking order & we already had a lot of centre backs. From the bits I saw of him he was very good on the ball but I didn’t think he was that good at the physical side of the game, not for a centre back anyway which is why he probably looked a million dollars playing against lesser opposition in pre-season where we dominate the ball.
Well all the games I watched him he looked head n shoulders over the others on the field. But im no expert in this .
