Your joking here aren't you ?. I did, and in case you didn't understand what I meant, or was trying to say, I wasn't talking about myself here. With them both being given no respect or slack at all, beyond the month of August. I think it was disgraceful how some fans had a go at them!. If you read my comments about them over the two seasons, I think I was more than fair with both of them.
If we don’t win every game next season it will be unbearable on here, especially from the non attenders
That's an excellent run out by the lads. We need to aclimatise to the lower leagues and inevitable disappointment that will bring. Eventually we'll win the Northern Premier and our trophy cabinet will be complete and I'll retire. #living the dream. You reds.
Don't forget "be thankful for your apple and orange this Christmas. I was happy with a stick of coil".
If they show the same attitude and apply themselves like they have done today according to reports on here and others I've spoken with Then all I can say is, its going to be a long drawn out season with more disappointment and frustration to come, than success seen Yes it's only a friendly and CH is using the non league fixtures for the players to gain fitness, but surely those that weren't gaining first team regular football last season, should be using these games to stake a regular claim for selection to the first team, or at least showing they are ready, if called upon Yes I know that I go on about the Man united U21 team tearing us a new backside last season, but come on, once again, it sounds like that lack of fighting spirit, and that lethargic attitude, and such, that we showed throughout that game that night, hasn't been knocked out of them. Im sorry to say It doesnt bode well for our future in this division let alone further down the line when you think that the club are pinning their hopes on this bunch . Some might think this is an over reaction on my part, but come on, doesn't it speak volumes that the youth we have at hand aren't up to the job at hand. I think if I was incharge I'd be asking what's taking place in the academy....in my opinion something isnt right from top to bottom down at the well On today's showing by all accounts it's only going to get worse if at all it gets better
Nowt wrong with affording someone a bit of slack mate. It’s crazy that we’re even discussing it a month before the season even kicks off
Pi$$ poor no matter which way you look at it. It would explain why most of our youngsters loaned out struggle at National League south/north level and are then released.
Why though? Shown absolutely nothing to suggest he's up to it. I'm guessing there are loads of top level footballers just like Conor with the same standards etc that aren't up to the job as a Head Coach.
The squad isn't even completed yet, some are coming and some are going. Using your theory you'd expect Huddersfield to be down by Christmas after losing at Emley 3-0 but you know they won't they'll be there and thereabouts like us.
All friendlies should be behind closed doors and results not released to protect the hard of thinking's blood pressure.
Friendlies are more of a boost for non league clubs. Imo. Players want to shine. And get one over. Today was a prime example. Worksop were up for it, far more than we were, no one wants to get injured although a couple did. I'm not sure how many 1st teamers played today but a mixed bag all through the game. With still a few missing. Nothing you could read from that game really. Emley was a bit more of a show. But I never take any notice of results. Good or bad.
110%, effort, attention to detail that's off the scale, meticulously planned pre season, faith in the youth. High tempo enjoyable to watch football. We've just got to be patient for a few years.
It really is bordering on pathetic some of these comments. Id genuinely consider it if it meant some of our youngsters don't see the absolute tripe written on here about a bloody meaningless runabout.
