    No, I am not comparing him on ability to Ronaldo or Messi, what I am comparing is his ability to score goals at this level, he has kept himself fit and still manages to score goals at the age of 37. Gary Lineker hasn’t played professional football since 1994 and Shearer in 2006, so your comparison is, as you say, mental and bonkers.But if you want, perhaps we can continue with Max XG Watters?

    He certainly knows where the net is and he’s hardly geriatric, we’ve tried the young and upcoming and we were never going to be able to afford a good striker in his prime, give him a chance I say!

    I bash the club a lot and granted this signing has surprised a lot of us but it's only a one year deal and it may turn out ok. There's no doubting McGoldrick's previous record and he will probably do more in one season than Max Watters has done in 3

    I'll never get my head around humans. They base their whole calendar system around the birth date of a fictional character, implement it, with force, across the entire planet, then decide he wasn't actually born on that date anyway.
