Can you lot be careful of the bees! They are struggling enough without you clumsy buggers keep treading on them!
It was a nice late 20's early 30's arse. Nice thigh length summer dress on. Sandals on holding a pint of cider. I didn't really take much notice really as I was minding my own business. I was going to offer to suck the sting out but her fella was a sizable chap
There seems to be more than normal this year. Must have been hundreds at rugby club today. Couldn't sit down fir a minute without em attacking us
Yes. I've got beehives at the bottom of the garden, so pick up the odd sting when inspecting colonies. Most are on the hands, often when bees get under them when manipulating frames, which is why most beekeepers wear thin gloves so that they can feel the bees on their hands and try to avoid doing so.
I was bitten by a female horse fly in Cornwall last week (not for the first time).I have an allergy for such bites. The last time it happened I just left it and in a couple of days my forearm had swelled up like a balloon to the elbow. I had to attend the local minor injuries clinic on that occasion. Knowing this, I rang Junior Didcot Red 2, a GP, who advised me to go the Boots in Bude as they are part of the “Pharmacy First” scheme. Within an hour I had been prescribed antibiotics to treat the allergy. It is the first time I had come across this initiative, which is designed to keep people way for GP surgeries and A & Es. It seems like a good initiative.
No, you’re not imagining it – more wasps may be invading your garden https://share.google/JVefdY49zTWJwBuW9 Here you go!
I tried to drink a wasp a couple of years ago and it understandably retaliated. I learned that lesson - no more drinking beer straight from the bottle in the summer.
