    Cause our bowling is awful. Apart from archers pace our bowling is 2nd rate. We have 3 batters in top10 in world but 0 bowlers

    Hope McCullum and Stokes don't become over stubborn.

    Crawley is a walking wicket. Pope is feast or famine.

    and our bowling attack. Woakes is past it Carse isn't the answer Bashir is a failed experiment and we have to rely on a skipper with injury issues and wrap Archer up in cotton wool.

    Oh for an Anderson and Broad attack.

    He got 33 batting at number 3 in the Surrey league, but zero wickets from his 8 overs.

    Absolutely not. But the leadership team need to sit down after the conclusion of this test and have serious selection discussions.

    Only certainties for fourth test in my opinion are-

    Duckett
    Root
    Brook
    Smith
    Stokes
    Archer


    5 or 6 to consider for a call up

    Sibley
    Bethell
    Atkinson
    Leach
    Overton/Curran

    It isn't skill it's mentality. Said it for years. Bazball was about a gee up. Try and get us on the front foot. Nowt more than a pep talk or fist pump. I think it was @DannyWilsonLovechild who eluded to it many moons ago. For all the bluster you still have to play proper cricket.

    The forty minute period after lunch: Stokes and Root turning down runs only for Root to get out way he did. Maybe it's because I'm a Yorkie. Just wound me up.
