Brilliant comeback from the lasses in normal time.
Re the penalties, at least they made the Swedish goalie make saves whereas they couldn’t even it the target

I only watched from the second half including her two "attempts" in injury time. She must have been like Messi in the 1st half...

I suspect dogger was because of the lack of a shot she had opportunity on.

My comment was based on her all round game. Held the ball up, strong and bringing others into play. Her passing accuracy was quite high and she was all over the pitch chasing and pressing. Mostly on her own until they brought on Agyeman.

In previous tournaments I held the same opinion that she wasn't very good. But after the glowing references made about her in the build up, I thought I'd watch her in more detail.

And she is absolutely far from being dogger.

Agree, her all round game in this tournament, in particular the work she does off the ball for the team has been very good and often gets missed by others.
It must be so frustrating for her as a player as England don’t play to her strengths and style as shown at club level.
Do agree that the two chances towards end of 90’ were very poor though.

Sorry to say but the standard of womens professional football is lower than mens local football.

Why the need to compare women and men's football? I enjoyed the game last night although very stressful as a England fan, can't we leave it at that? All the women are far better footballers than we'll all ever be anyway.

Also Bronze, Kelly and Hampton were all superb, without those three we'd be out of the tournament now. Bring on Tuesday!

Actually the women have a lot more skill and aren't waddling round with a beer gut.

Good job we practised penalties before hand, or we could still be watching.

I tend to agree. Except I watch as much mens football outside of BFC as I do women's. Practically none.
I do enjoy women's cricket at times. Having suffered Yorkshire men for a few yrs. And especially this one.
