I agree. Just a pity there's only one Gok Wan, as we could probably do with him both as a big target man and at centre half.

Graham Norton on Waterloo Bridge... he looked very insecure and nervous.

I was at a wake where Kalvin Phillips turned up in a fashionable black jacket with a big logo on the back - he looked like Alan Partridge in his Castrol GTX bomber jacket.

I didn't speak to him but by all accounts he's a good lad, probably just a bit daft.

Many moons ago in a mini market shop in Golders Green, a mate (Gary) and myself and my ex wife saw one of the stars, off a popular TV show at that time, called Mind your language.
It was my mate Gary who spotted him first and who came running up to me, saying, bry bry come and look who's down the far aisle, who's there I asked, its thingy, thingy, from off, er what they call it, that telly programme, mind your something or other
So out of curiosity I went with him to look.
Now we must have looked rather odd and star struck peering round the shelves ....see it is him he said loudly, loud enough for Kevork Malikyan ( who played Max the Greek character in the show.) to look up and in our direction.
As we slowly sank back behind the shelving, myself, mostly out of embarrassment for the way the situation had unfolded, Malikyan came after us with a very big smile on his face and just has Gary finished of with You see I told you it was him
Malikyan said, Yes yes boys ( i was 24 Gary 26 ) it is me, you were right, Iam in Mind your Language.
    Would you like my autograph
We both looked at each other then back at him, and said No.
Gary adding ''Why do you want mine'' Malikyan just stood there and gently shook his head, bless him, he was so deflated and it really showed in his face lol.

Stightly off topic but literally bumped into Hugo Colace, his stunning wife and young kid coming off a slide at Farmer Jack's playbarn in Esholt about 12-14 years ago. Nearly took me out as they zoomed off the bottom. Nice chap

Ross Kelly. Many many years ok when he was doing GMTV, I had the misfortune to share a lift with him in the Lowry hotel in Manchester.

He wanted to be recognised and offered. “”I love stating in five star hotels when the company is paying.”

Me and missus saw Jeff Hordley in Leeds in Harvey Nicols and he looked as moody and miserable as his tv persona.

I stood behind Bill Oddie in a bookstall queue at the British Birdwatching Fair a few years back, strangely enough we were both buying the same two books.

Before he was famous, Norton used to compère the comedy night occasionally in the downstairs bar in my local in Hampstead. I was mates with the landlord and he told me if I ever want to go down and watch just wait until a couple of minutes after it has started and stand at the back. However, he advised me to be careful if Norton is compèring, because “he finds an obviously straight bloke in the audience and humiliates him throughout the show”

I've been to his house a couple of times...seemed a very nice bloke.
Once sat on the next table to Christa Ackroyd and Kathryn? Apanowicz.
Saw Bella Emberg in Brighton...also actor Paul Bown, had a chat with Mike Summerbee ( really nice bloke) and stood briefly next to Steve Davis in a nightclub in Sheffield...same with Sebastian Coe and Herol Graham.
Came into contact with actor Barry Rutter....more than a bit of a prat.
Once saw Geoff Boycott looking in Midwood Sports window.

I was in Harrods in the food hall looking at the price of the goods when I came face to face with Ade Edmondson, couldn't remember his name so I said ayup Viv. Well the look he gave me and never replied to my greeting said so much. So I stood my ground and made him move out of my way. Miserable sod.

He didn't live there at that time, he was on the Harrogate Road from Leeds at Shadwell. I remember it well, my cambelt went coming home, cost me well over a grand for a new engine.

I was having a cigarette outside a club in Glasgow when Michelle McManus asked me for a light and then proceeded to brush her lady parts against my leg.

I still walk with a limp to this day.

I once stood next to Vince Cable for a p***

Met Kevin McCloud at Kings Cross station.

Asked a random stranger for directions that turned out to be Suggs.

Also sat next to Gabbie Roslin and Mel C in a restaurant - my wife tells me I should have noticed.
