I wonder what they’ll be wearing tonight in York, considering the hosts play in red. And we are away at Plymouth (green) a week on Saturday.

Got to be due an announcement, Shirley?

I hope it’s black and blue Internazionale stripes.

Seconded on the Black and Blue. With a Fiorentina purple third kit.

I absolutely loved our black and blue striped away kit, very Inter-esque. Lovely.

I've said i pretty much every season, but once more for good measure. Home kits are red, away kits should be black. That's it.

Agreed. York will be kind enough to play in their away kit at home.

I’m hoping it’s very similar to one we’ve had previously, so I won’t want to buy it, cos I’m skint!

My guess is considering the 97/98 kit hints in the home shirt, it might be white and green?

Think we would have teased it already if that was the plan. But then nothing really seems thought through anymore so it could be. ;)

Just on this - we did wear red, with York kindly wearing their change kit. Not only that, kits still dont have squad numbers or names on - players were numbered 1-11 and then the sub came on with the same equivalent number as the player they replaced. Literally everything we do is amateurish.

Why is that amateurish? Not being argumentative, I just don't understand your point.

How are we not ready with alternative kits and squad numbers 10 days before the start of the season? You dont think thats not just a bit crap?

So long as it's ready for the start of the season, I don't see an issue. Just found this page. It doesn't show league 1, but there's about 16 teams in the top 2 leagues still to announce an away kit. QPR haven't launched a home kit yet. Historically, it was always announced on the open day which was usually 6 days before the first game (I think).

To be fair, in the few friendlies I've bothered attending, the numbering for both sides has often been completely random. However, not having the away kit ready at this late stage is pretty rubbish. Plus it surely can't take that long to produce 20 pairs of stripey socks? I'm pretty sure my mum could've knitted enough pairs by now, at least for the first XI.
