Through to final. v Middlesex tonight 6:45pm You Tube. Just beat Glamorgan in semi. Just keep yer gobs shut with predictions.
Oops silly me, got ahead of missen somehow, most likely a proper brain fart, Thanks . Hope I haven't put mockers on lol. I watched it up to end of Glamorgans innings n'all. . Back on it goes. If we lose the semi. Permission granted to come and knock 7 bells out of me. Pick x11 and Helen up ont way.
Should have been given tier 1 status this year. Then they wouldn't have had to loan out a few players like Winfield Hill for a season.
I was a bit worried there. I got up for the 6:30 PST start, which was delayed, as I went into radio-silence to watch a replay of the Lions 2nd Test in parallel. I'm still watching Yorkshire, so I thought I was going out of my mind, or I was in a time-warp.
True! It's just a pity after an unbeaten season, to fizzle out like this. Having said that, Middlesex only needed to use two batters for both the Semi-final and Final.
Tbh mate you are right. But too many tried too long to get in, then out first time willing to strike out. putting pressure on those that followed. Polar opposite of the men who on many occasions throw caution to the wind from the off. And put pressure on those that follow to steady the ship for a while.
They will do better next season with Jess Jonassen being brought in for tier 1 as their overseas player. A very classy Australian player, with lots of experience over here especially playing for Welsh Fire in the Hundred.
We've just got back! Final was a dead loss. But in both games Middlesex were outstanding in the field and rattled off their targets without loss of any wickets and with overs to spare. Worthy winners on the day but a real shame Yorkshire got to the final but fell apart in the power play.
Middlesex looked far better than us and I think they're all part time too according to the commentary. The fielding was excellent. They seemed to have a more diverse team too.
Another barmpot set of rules. We can jump to tier 1. For next season 2026. But no relegations for 3 yrs. Middlesex can't go to that level till 2029 at the earliest. The contract situations for players are just just as bad. I'm guessing hoping all the best players will fill those teams in tier 1. To improve standards gradually. Hope that makes sense lol.
