BS I heard 3 weeks ago it was 4k not officially of course they haven’t released that, someone on here tried to over lay something to suggest there were at least 7000 never hit cos it’s clearly ball cocks, look at ticket availability for Burton over a week since £15 was announced.
You were trying to guess with your eyes how many blue dots there were. I sent you the exact number of blue dots in each section and you went running away with your tail between your legs because it was a lot lower than your guess. We'll not know how many were sold until either they announce a number or we see the attendance for the first game which will give an indication. But you're just guessing in spite of evidence of how many seats were remaining. Just checked again and there's only 4,644 season tickets avaialble to buy. That's 1,300 fewer than last time i checked in this thread: https://barnsleyfc.org.uk/threads/rough-season-ticket-numbers.337386/
4,697 seats left available to buy for the Burton game. Not sure why there's more available for that game than for season tickets, presumably there's some seats that can't be sold for season tickets but can for individual games for whatever reason.
Nay Barnsley Reds has spoken and his algorithm has pinpointed only 128 of the 8500 ST holders from the 24/25 season were bed wetters and didn’t renew
I'm just telling you how many blue dots there are. That's all. Feel free to count them if you disagree, but it's an accurate number. Obviously it doesn't mean every white dot has been sold, but the blue dot number is accurate.
Well, that's certainly more uplifting than it appeared when looking at the dots. The usual 7,500 to 8,500 season tickets sold then.
I only know 1 person who hasn't renewed. My mate rang me yesturday to say he can't make it anymore through ill health. He's been going 70 years.I said it was a sad time for him but he's served his club well.Hopefully he might make the odd game but his body is telling him the climb up Oakwell Lane is taking its toll.
I think it’s easy to get mislead by the big groups of blue towards the edges of the stands and in the west stand but there’s very few seats left in the middle of the east and ponty.
Purely guesswork but I'm hoping it's c 7-8k and, in my opinion, credit to the Club for not increasing the prices.
With our fans saying attendances have dropped, every single season, BFC will soon be paying us to attend
Why do you seem to get great pleasure in hoping and predicting season ticket sales are well down on last year?.....very strange.
I'm facing the same problem, been toiling a mile uphill every other week for nearly 40 years and now Oakwell Lane is too tough a test. But I reckon I can still make the bus station, so I've renewed more in hope than expectation.
Good luck mate. Great effort to not give up on something that means so much - lets hope they reward us all with the same kind of commitment. COYR
Fair play to you for keeping up the support. I just keep going cos it’s what I’ve done since I was 9 years old back in 1973. Had some great times over the years and some not so great. We’re in the latter again I reckon for the foreseeable but hope I’m proved wrong. Looking forward to the new season in terms of the social side of match day but not so much the football. Expectations are pretty low given how weak the squad looks, especially defensively.
I take no pleasure but wish the club would take heed and get rid of the problem or problems that are causing that low number ! Is it so hard to understand when you wear rise tinted specs?
