I e got good news for you. They brought out a film based on the book a 'few' years ago. You should watch it.

The book's a fair bit different from the film, though.

Yeah Leeds could be the capital of West Yorks, but not the whole county.
I think that honour should go to Bridlington. :D

Yeah that's always been my favourite, the 'Oakwell' badge. It takes me back to the early 80s Panini stickers days. :)

We've got a brilliant club crest that is 100% and identifiably ours. It's a well with two oak leaves above it, and I can't for the life of me understand why it was ditched.

Edit - just read the full thread and realised loads of people got in there before me on this one.

I had never heard of Oxen before we partnered with them & then went to Junction 32 at Pontefract the other day & saw that they have a shop there.

Wasn’t too impressed to be honest. Most of the rugby kits were pretty ugly although that might be a bit harsh as I think most rugby kits are ugly due to the amount of sponsors on them.

They didn’t have any football kits in which was a bit surprising. I read someone on here say that they sponsored Doncaster last season so I thought they might have some of their kits in stock but didn’t.

Also a pair of plain back running shorts in there were £40 which was significantly more than both Nike & Adidas.

Normally do have footy shirts in there tbh, last time I went in they had both Lincoln and Donny, was before end of season mind before I moved away.
